The Sports Office has partnerships with a number of fitness centers and sport clubs, ensuring a price reduction when using MOVE. You can only purchase a subscription and/or membership with our partners using the MOVE App.

BASIC-FIT
You can only subscribe for a Basic-Fit membership with a MOVE discount at the Basic-Fit Middelheim (Middelheimlaan 1, B-2020 Antwerp). As soon as you get your membership, you can use it in every Basic-Fit center in Belgium and Europe. More information on this website.
Attention!
- Purchase your MOVE 24 hours in advance when you want to start or renew your subscription. Our management system always needs time to load all the new data.
- Consider the opening hours of the Basic Fit reception. Make sure to finalize your fitness subscription before 9:30 PM on weekdays or before 3:00 PM during the weekend.

- Complete this short questionnaire.
- Within three business days, you will receive an email with a link to the discount for your membership. We will send the email to the address you used to purchase your valid MOVE.

AIKIDO ACACIA
Aikido is a Japanese martial art that uses the opponent’s strength and energy to neutralize an attack. Aikido uses various holds and throws in the process. Weapon work and defending against multiple opponents are also part of our training. The goal here is always to resolve the conflict in an effective and powerful way, but without hurting the opponent unnecessarily. Aikido Acacia creates an open mind, open to its surroundings and open to those around it.

BRIDGE
BRIDGECLUB DUA
DUA stands for Denksportclub Universiteit Antwerpen and at Bridgeclub DUA you are most welcome if you enjoy playing cards. Bridge is a fascinating, addictive and challenging game. You can compare it to a game of ‘wiezen’, but there is a lot more to it that both recreational and competitive players will enjoy.

PRICE STUDENTS WITH MOVE
- Entitlement to a free DUA course.
- Become a member? First year = free, second year you pay €50 (instead of €70). It is not mandatory to become a member right away!
- The membership fee paid is then valid for the current year students take the course and for the full bridge year thereafter. The student is then a member of the VBL (Vlaams Bridge Liga).
- Members can participate for free in all competitions.

Looking for a challenging new hobby? Or already have some experience with cards and may it be something more? Then bridge is definitely something for you! CHESS
DE RODE LOPER
De Rode Loper is a chess club by and for students. This club was founded in 2021 to bring back playing chess to the students, and to unite the lovers of this mind sports. Every Thursday, there will be a chess activity, full of chess and fun. Beginning players as well as advanced masters are more than welcome to come out and play!

FENCING
SINT-MICHIELSGILDE
The Sint Michiels Guild is a school for Traditional European Martial Arts. They mainly focus on the 15th and 16th century martial tradition. During the sessions you will learn to handle weapons such as the slow sword, rapier, staff and dagger.

ANTWERP ROLLER DERBY
In case you were ever wondering how one would play rugby on wheels: this is where you can find out. Perfect sport for those who want something intense but have a fear of balls. Roller derby is a full contactsport on wheels. A basic knowledge of skating is welcome but we start from scratch and teach all kind of skills needed to be stable and strong on track. You get an introduction to our sport and an invite to join the training sessions!
